Deep Water CEO Nolan Nasser said, “Mystery of the Temples is the kind of game that I’m proud to have been a part of. The first time we sat down to play the original version, I realized that I had a GREAT game on the table. Now that we’re done getting it ready for a North American audience, I thinks it’s a truly wonderful gaming experience!”
The Deep Water Games and Emperor S4 teams have been working together to update Mystery of the Temples to bring upgraded components to an already great game. In addition to a component overhaul, Deep Water Games is reworking the artwork to be colorblind friendly, accessible, and inclusive of all players.
“After our first few rounds of MotT, we had a brainstorming session about what could be improved and one of the only things that came up right away was ‘can we make this color-blind friendly?’ so that was a high priority from the start. I think one of our most important founding principles as a company is inclusion of everyone around the gaming table. We’re really happy with the changes we’ve made to this game and I think people are going to love it!” – Travis McIntire, Deep Water Games founder.
In addition to Mystery of the Temples, Deep Water Games also has two other fantastic EmperorS4 titles they’re updating and publishing. They’ll be bringing you Sorcerer and Stones, one of EmperorS4’s newest releases and an old ES4 classic, Round House.

You’ll use magic cards to adjust alchemy zones to chain the best activation of spirit stones. Then use those to score points, build artifacts, and move your spirit around the spirit realm. The beautifully illustrated Sorcerer and Stones is sure test each player’s wit as they compete to reach transcendence.
